Plans have been announced for another marina on the Llangollen Canal. Occupying 14 acres, the 178-berth marina is intended to be located at Wrenbury, though the proposal has met with strong opposition from locals, who say it would 'benefit no-one but the developer', and contribute to growing delays for motorists at the Wrenbury Lift Bridge. The application is the second to be made on the site by the company, Enzygo Ltd, the first being in 2008 when the application was for a total of 217 berths.
