EFFECTIVENESS OF 'PERVIOUS PAVEMENTS' IN THE IMPROVEMENT OF SURFACE-WATER QUALITY

摘要

This paper includes a description of pervious pavements and the issues related to design and construction of pervious pavements that are used to achieve Water Sensitive Urban Design.(WSUD). Furthermore, the paper details design aspects of the Pervious Pavement field scale experimental setup located at Centre for Education and Research in Environmental Strategies (CERES) in Melbourne, the tests carried out in designing the pavement, drainage design and the design features of the pervious pavement constructed at CERES.
