Water Operator Partnerships - A Simple Way to Help Water Utilities in Developing Countries

The concept of Water Operator Partnerships (WOPs) was developed at fourth World Water Forum in Mexico as a strategy to help achieve the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) established in 2000. The rationale behind the WOPs concept was that the greatest capacity for improving water and sanitation operators lay with the operators themselves.
