A s the floodwaters finally recede from Pakistan, aid agencies are warning of a 'second wave of death', focused on children, caused by waterborne diseases.rnTorrential monsoon rains triggered massive floods that moved progressively from the north to the south of the country, flooding a fifth of its area and affecting 17 million of the 167 million population. In all, around 1600 people are confirmed to have died so far.
