Ireally struggle with a comment I hear all too often. "I can't afford to provide training to my employees. Once they are trained they will leave and go work for someone else and all I did was pay for the training." Does that mean it is better to keep people on the payroll who are not trained and don't know how to do things? I always think of a quote when I hear such a comment. It goes: "In the long run, the race belongs not merely to the swift, but to the farseeing, to those who anticipate change."
