Long-time NGWA member Art Becker, CPG, MGWC, NGWAF, is the recipient of NGWA's most prestigious award, the Ross L. Oliver Award for outstanding contributions to the groundwater industry. Becker is president of Drilling and Safety Consultants LLC in Barnegat, New Jersey, and will receive the 2021 Ross L. Oliver Award during Groundwater Week 2021, December 14-16 in Nashville, Tennessee. Becker, president of NGWA in 2011, shares what the award means to him after entering the water well industry in 1972 with a degree in geology. He also shares the safety improvements he would like to see in the future.
