Meet 2022 National Ground Water Association incoming President Brian Snelten, PG, who will be handed the president's gavel at Groundwater Week 2021, December 14-16 in Nashville, Tennessee. Snelten, area manager for Layne Christensen, A Granite Company, in Aurora, Illinois, grew up in the water well industry and is fourth generation. Licensed to drill in Illinois, Snelten earned a degree in geology and worked 13 years in the environmental consulting industry before joining Layne Christensen. Snelten shares how he first got involved volunteering at the state and national levels and what he looks forward to at Groundwater Week 2021.
