Assessment of clinical waste management in Kuala Lumpur Private Hospitals

In conclusion, this study discovered gaps in the waste management system such as insufficient training for staff, misuse of waste bins and overfilled containers. For reducing the cost of CWM, the waste generation should be minimized by implementing adequate staff training, increasing individual's responsibility and using proper segregation system with minimized risk of contact.
