Changes in science, engineering, social trends and economic forces are reshaping and transforming our world as we watch. We're in the midst of an information and communications revolution. In 2010 we had just under 2 billion people were connected to the internet; by 2020 it will be over 5 billion with more than 3 billion people joining the global conversation and contribute to global ideas over the next 3 years. The Internet of Things (IoT) is expected to be even bigger than that, as more live streaming data connections and controls produce a colossal explosion of data.
