Gerry Norberg is a retired Air Canada Boeing 777 Captain who lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and has an extensive background with vintage aircraft. Besides owning and operating his own aircraft over the years, he also flies Air Canada's beautifully restored Lockheed 10A CF-TCC. "It has always been a dream of mine to own an exotic Warbird. This is probably a very misguided dream since I don't own any oil wells, gold mines, Toronto real estate, and my main investment program of buying lottery tickets hasn't been paying a good return. However, I did try once to buy a genuine Warbird! "In 1973, I learned that there were some Fireflies for sale located in the Asmara, Eritrea Province, in the northern part of Ethiopia. What really got me excited was when I learned that these were the aircraft operated by the RCN and exported to Ethiopia in 1954!
