Shooting the Shooter: How Experience Level Affects Photojournalistic Coverage of a Breaking News Event

In-depth interviews were conducted with professional, student, and citizen photojournalists to determine how experience level and training affect the photojournalistic coverage of a breaking news event. Building upon the hierarchy of influences approach, influences on the individual and routines levels were examined.
