摘要

ONCE UPON A TIME, "treasure hunting" meant searching for hidden gems, gold coins, and pirate booty. Today, there is a new type of treasure-and it can be found in the trash or in your own home. Recognizing these valuables before they end up in a dumpster certainly can be beneficial to an individual's income. As the CEO of an estate sale company as well as a passionate and experienced treasure hunter myself, I have spent almost a quarter-century attending thousands of secondhand market sales-garage, yard, moving, and estate sales; auctions, flea markets, etc.-searching for overlooked vintage cash cows to flip for substantial profit margins. Not only can these items be valuable monetarily, they oftentimes have significant historic, cultural, and sentimental value.
