FRANCE'S Total is set to resume construction activities at its Afungi liquefied natural gas site in Mozambique after the government implemented additional security measures, confirming an earlier Upstream report that said workers will begin returning this month. Thousands of non-essential personnel were evacuated from the Mozambique LNG construction site in December 2020 due to attacks by Islamist insurgents close to the site's boundary fencing.
