Bidders line up for Dalma gas project

LEADING international engineering, procurement and construction players are set to submit technical offers later this month for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company's (Adnoc) $1.5 billion-plus Dalma offshore sour gas development on the giant Ghasha concession. At least three people directly involved with the Dalma development project told Upstream that technical confirmation offers for the re-tender exercise are likely to be submitted on 21 July. "The revised technical offers are due later this month and we are hoping that price bids will be submitted in August," one person said. Upstream reported in June that Adnoc was poised to re-tender the Dalma sour gas development to pre-qualified players, which were involved in the previous tender process.
