Total launches search for gas project maintenance contractor at Afungi

FRENCH supermajor Total is on the hunt for a company to provide maintenance, inspection and engineering services (MIES) for its Mozambique Liquefied Natural Gas project.An expression of interest (EoI) has been released with responses due to be submitted by 22 May.The Mozambique LNG project will consist of a subsea systemon the deepwater Golfinho-Atum field, feeding gas to a pair of liquefaction trains to be built at the Afungi site, some 10 kilometres south-east of Palma in Cabo Delgado province.
