Uzma wins work from Shell and Petronas

MALAYSIAN contractor Uzma has landed new work from Anglo-Dutch supermajor Shell, as well as state-run oil giant Petronas, in deals worth a combined 136 million ringgit ($32.3 million). The work with Shell will see Uzma carry out work on a plug and abandonment campaign off Sarawak this year, with the contract valued at about 100 million ringgit.
