New oil find in Trinidad

CANADA-BASED Touchstone Exploration has announced a "significant crude oil discovery" with its second wildcat on the Ortoire exploration block in Trinidad & Tobago. Wireline logs on the Casca-dura-1ST1 well indicated 1037 feet of net oil pay, including 600 net feet in a Middle Herrera thrust sheet at depths between 5516 and 6162 feet, along with three other intervals of oil saturated sand reservoirs.
