Chevron starts FEED push at Gendalo-Gehem

CHEVRON has started the process of identifying contractors for the next phase of its Indonesia Deep-water Development (IDD) project as it awaits approval of a revised plan of development. Sources said the US supermajor has issued a market assessment to identify contractors with engineering, procurement, construction and installation expertise capable of, and interested in, bidding for the next phase of work. The next phase is front-end engineering and design, and sources said Chevron is still finalising its contracting strategy for how to deliver the project's production facilities.
