摘要

New robotic systems made their debut and existing systems posted a blizzard of news updates at the show, the largest of its kind devoted entirely to unmanned systems, with nearly 8,000 attendees and more than 500 exhibitors. Speakers and exhibitors at the show highlighted new uses for robotic systems, new ways of doing existing jobs and new products for taking on the work."You can see the extreme range of applications for these vehicles and as we transition a lot of the technology out of the DOD into the civil sector, you'll see a lot of growth as we go forward," said Insitu's Peter Bale, who took over as chairman of the board of AUVSI's board of directors during the show.
