Thu Thiem Tunnel nears completion

Construction work on the immersed tube Thu Thiem Tunnel under the Sai Gon River in Vietnam is nearing completion. The East-West Highway and Water Environment Project Management Board and Japan-based contractor Obayashi began pouring concrete to connect the fourth section with the final section on the District 1 side earlier this month.
