Modeling Of Road Traffic Noise In The Industrial Town Of Asansol, India

摘要

This study evaluates factors that significantly influence the equivalent road traffic noise level, L_(eq) and develops models for the industrial town of Asansol, India. The study shows that L_(eq) values are mainly influenced by the hourly traffic volume. Day time data reveals a stronger relationship than night data. Principal component analysis was also used to identify dominating variables affects L_(eq).
