Recent Research and Development on Railway Signalling and Telecommunications

摘要

As one of the recent topics for signalling, digital ATC, an intelligent train control system mounted on a car, has been developed and will be used soon for Shinkansen and other lines. A radio controlled train control system is also developed for practical use. For narrow-gauge lines, the development of a new system, safer and easy-to- maintain at lower cost, is expected. For telecommunications, new telecommunication and network techniques are realized with rapid progress of Internet and mobile telecommunications.
