This article discusses algorithms for evaluating the quality of speech signals that are transmitted and processed in communication systems on railway transport and includes the definition of the role and significance of speech processing systems for railway communication systems, consideration of the processes of filtering and noise suppression, segmentation into separate informative sections, and establishment of informative parameters. In telecommunication systems voice messages are transmitted over wired and wireless communication channels using analog and digital signals. The types of voice signal transmission implementations depend on their purpose, propagation conditions, and a set of factors that must be taken into account when designing and building communication networks. Communication systems on the railway transport is used, the device is designed to provide internal and external communications. Operation of communication systems is carried out taking into account certain technical features: the presence of vibration, increased requirements for reliability and reliability of connections. The actual process of transmitting speech signals is characterized by high data input speed and high levels of background noise and interference.
