London tube company Metronet recently held its Maintenance Engineering Apprentice of the Year Awards at Covent Garden's London Transport Museum.rnMetronet Chief Maintenance Officer Phil Hufton said of the apprentices: "This event allows us to recognise publicly the value we place on their achievements."rnThe awards cover Metronet's four-year Modern Apprenticeship programme, which is one of the largest in the London region, and several other special awards for apprentice success.
