摘要

Effects of the wire shape in hundles and the wire feeding conditions on shape of formed coils are studied experimentally, although they are important problems in the cold coiling of springs, they have never been studied because of their complexity. Themain results are as follows. The wire shape in bundles and the inclination angle of the reel plane produces the combined load of bending moment and torsional moment on wires during coiling by a deformation trend of the wires, which is related to the changes of shape of formed coils with the interaction between yield-point loads.
