Coiling of 14-Wire and 19-Wire Strands on Production Spring Coilers

The objectives of the program were (1) to develop manufacturing techniques and processes for the fabrication of springs from 14-wire and 19-wire strands on production coilers, and (2) to establish realistic and practical spring tolerances for the coiling of 14-wire and 19-wire strands. (Author)
