摘要

Semi-implicit coupling of RELAP5-3D? and COBRA-TF codes in PVM environment has been implemented. It includes all functionalities to send and receive the required coupling messages and includes a KRYLOV solution to the extended pressure matrix. Steady-state coupled solution has been verified against an equivalent stand-alone RELAP5-3D? and COBRA-TF models. The next steps include further studies in order to improve the stability of the coupled code system calculations and improved time step selection. Stability improvements require restructuring of the COBRA-TF outer iteration, which allow improvements of the optimization of time step selection scheme.
