One of the benefits of writing a column in Smart Highways is that once I have a few under my belt I can refer back to previous columns for ideas that I did not have enough space to pursue - our illustrious editor sets a paltry 700 word limit on these missives so some things don't make the cut. Due to their gripping content I can also be reasonably sure that you're unlikely to recall my ramblings from the last issue let alone 2016!
