Lorenz Snack-World says its special edition Oktoberfest snack, Bierstangerl, proved so popular with consumers that it has decided to make them a permanent addition to its Saltletts range. It says the introduction of Bierstangerl last autumn marked a change in direction for stick shaped pretzel style snacks. They are the first pretzel sticks to be baked from 'sour dough' and to have seasonings worked into them prior to cooking.
