Stobart Rail cancels five consecutive charters

Stobart Rail cancelled five successive charters in April due to a lack of bookings and stock problems, including faulty on-board air-conditioning. These cancellations came in the aftermath of a poor 'Easter West Highlander' land cruise, which ran four hours late, partly due to RETB signalling problems. Passengers missed the Isle of Mull ferry. The April 5 excursion to the Severn Valley was cancelled with only 26 passengers booked and the following four trips were also cancelled.
