Ideas for the Epping Ongar Railway to become a 5ft gauge line operated by Finnish steam locomotives have ended. Nigel Sill (owner of eight Finnish locos, seven in Britain) and three fellow directors of Epping Ongar Railway (Holdings) Ltd, have sold their shares to the remaining director, Roger Wright, who now becomes sole owner of the railway.
