The Furness Railway Trust's new home base will be the Ribble Steam Railway.rnAs The RM reported in the June, the FRT and RSR had entered "detailed discussions" following news that FRT had to leave its long-time base at the Lakeside S Haverthwaite Railway by November.rnThe relationship has effectively been cemented between the two organisations with the location for an FRT small artefacts museum on RSR's Preston site agreed as detailed plans were advanced.rnThe FRT's Princess Alexandria's Royal Saloon has gone to Appleby Trainings Heritage Centre where restoration has begun.
