Llangollen Railway-based BR 4MT 2-6-4T No. 80072, owned by 80072 Ltd, is unlikely to return to steam until early-summer.rnWith the boiler in the frames, the lagging and boiler cladding is being added but with other tasks required to finish the loco and the work being done entirely by volunteers, it is several months from completion.rnThe steam-tested boiler for the Gresley Society Trust's GNR N2 No. 69523 was delivered to Loughborough from Tyseley on February 11.rnWork done at Tyseley includes making and fitting a new inner firebox plus replacement of the outer wrapper sides up to the line of the top of the stays plus a new section of throatplate.rnThe backhead from the foundation ring to the top of thernstays is also new. The boiler has been trial fitted, as have the tanks and cab roof, with new cladding sheets being made at Loughborough in late-February.
