The Wicksteed Park Railway s new steam-outline diesel locomotive built by Alan Keef Ltd was launched in to service on June 27.rnNamed Merlin, the new loco is likely to handle the bulk of Wicksteed passenger services for the remainder of the season.rnWicksteed's other steam-outline locos are the Baguley pair built for the 1931 opening of the line, Lady of the Lake (undergoing heavy overhaul)rnand 1931-built King Arthur (operational on non-passenger work), plus 1966-built Motor Rail Cheyenne.
