The Swanage Railway is understood to be negotiating for the 1906-vintage 65ft GWR turntable from London's disused Old Oak Common depot.rnCampaigners had hoped that the 'table might be retained at Old Oak as the centrepiece of a main line steam servicing depot (RM June) even though the central feature of the site - the locomotive lifting shed known as 'The Factory' - is to be demolished to make way for the Crossrail and HS2 projects.
