New terms and conditions for All-Line Rover tickets valid from January 2 have caused a wave of anger from passengers. Restrictions now mean that the Rover will not be valid for boarding or alighting services operated by Cross Country, East Coast, East Midlands Trains or Virgin Trains before 10.00 Mon-Fri at the following stations: Birmingham New Street, Bedford, London Euston, London King's Cross, London St Pancras, Luton, Luton Airport Parkway, Milton Keynes Central, Stevenage and Watford Junction. In May 2010, the Association of Train Operating Companies tried to restrict use of the ticket until after 10.00, but backed down.
