DRC resident steam... nearly there

Orenstein & Koppel20hp 0-4-0WT (5744/1912) moved under its own steam for the first time at the Devon Railway Centre in mid-August. It arrived at Bickleigh in April 2005 following importation from Argentina. Some work remains to be done before it enters service to provide the first resident steam on the DRC's 2ft gauge running line. Hitherto, steam has been provided by hired locomotives and short-term visitors.
