Eversholt offers Class 93'Traxx'for ECML

A fleet of Traxx' electric locomotives hauling rakes of refurbished Mk 4 carriages on the East Coast Main Line is a better and cheaper option for the taxpayer, according to train leasing company Eversholt Rail. It estimates that such a programme would save ￡1 billion over the life of the franchise compared with the cost of building all-new trains under the Intercity Express Project (IEP).
