SUMMERLEE Museum of Scottish Industrial Life's restoration of Glasgow Corporation No. 1245 ended on a high note in 2017 when the 'Coronation' car was reunited with its running gear. The overhauled bogies were positioned beneath the jacked-up body on December 22, although there is still some work to do on the braking system before they can be permanently fitted.The bogies are seen in situ beneath the bodywork shortly after being rolled into place.
