Once an agency has decided to embark on the development and introduction of confrontational simulations, suit selection and modifications becomes crucial. Improper selection or failure to effectively modify protective suits for specific training can end otherwise well thought out programs in a heartbeat. For this reason, it is essential that the trainers who will actually design and supervise the scenarios, take an active role in suit selection and modification process. In a general sense however, there are four crucial elements to consider when deciding which type of protective suit to purchase for confrontational simulation training.
