Wilhelmsen Marine Engineering has won an order from Meyer Werft in Germany to finalise the cruise ship AIDAblu and two new cruise vessels, NB689 (unnamed) and NB690 (unnamed) being built for the German cruise operator, AIDA Cruises.rnUnder the terms of the deal, Wilhelmsen Marine Engineering's subsidiary, Wilhelmsen Callenberg Flakt will deliver heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and related engineering services. The order has an estimated value of €10.4million.rnThe latest contract with Meyer Werft is very significant, says Mikael Stroby, Wilhelmsen Marine Engineering's director for the new building and cruise segments: "It confirms that we are also competitive in today's tighter market and can meet the exacting demands of leading shipbuilders and operators alike."
