BigRoll orders carrier duo from COSCO

COSCO Dalian Shipyard, China has been contracted to build a pair of MC class module carriers for offshore operator BigRoll Shipping. Both vessels have been designed with completely clear deck space, totalling 125m × 42m, and free of manholes and air heads, to optimise the volume of cargoes they are able to carry to offshore sites. The deck area has a load capacity totalling 20tonnes/m~2.
