CO_2 reduction efforts gain traction

More than 200 maritime leaders and professionals gathered at the Future-Ready Shipping conference in Singapore last month to identify priority areas for international action and exchange best practices in maritime technology transfer and capacity building. Jointly organised by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and the International Maritime Organisation, representatives from shipping companies, classification societies, government organisations, universities and industry associations gathered to exchange views and to encourage cross-boundary collaboration.
