ADVOCACY EFFORTS GAINING TRACTION IN WASHINGTON'S POLICY COMMUNITY

THE INFORMS ADVOCACY WORK IN Washington, D.C., is achieving a number of positive results - from educating policymakers on the impact of operations research (O.R.) and analytics to building a wide array of relationships and opportunities between the INFORMS community and the policy community. Not only is this better positioning INFORMS and our members within the policy community, but it is creating a better understanding of how O.R. and analytics saves lives, saves money and solves problems.
