High speed Super Dvora Mk III combines speed and endurance

The Israel Navy has accepted into service first two examples of a new class of fast patrol/interdiction craft, the Super Dvora Mk III, which was designed and built by IAI/Ramta. The Super Dvora Mk III is the product of a two-year joint development effort between the Israeli Navy and naval architects and design engineers at IAI/Ramta who worked together to tailor the craft to meet the Israeli Navy's exacting requirements. These first examples of the Super Dvora Mk III are part of an order for six vessels placed by the Israeli Navy under a contract signed in January 2002. The contract also includes and option for another five vessels of the same type.
