According to Austrian company Hoerbiger, explosions may occur in intake manifolds and exhaust lines as well as in the piping system of ship engines, when gaseous fuels are used.rnTo offer effective protection, Hoerbiger says that it has, together with major engine manufacturers, developed the series EVT and EVM explosion relief valves.rnThe valves are designed specifically for dual fuel and gas engines, the EVT intended for high pressure applications and the EVM for low pressure ranges.
