Cat C32 diesel propulsion engines to power new windfarm

FINNING UK & Ireland has supplied twin Cat C32 diesel propulsion engines to Mainprize Offshore's new M04 vessel. The engines' drive fixed pitch propellers provide a service speed of 26 knots for the M04, even when fully loaded, hold the vessel in position when docking and allow controlled and steady performance when a change in propulsion direction is required.
