USPHS Engineers Support Navy Continuing Promise 2009

Continuing Promise 2009 (CP09), the fourth annual humanitarian civic assistance mission operated by U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command, concluded July 30 with the return of USNS Comfort after a four-month tour of the Caribbean and Central and South America. The mission was supported by joint U.S. and international military personnel and U.S. agencies and non-governmental organizations. CP09 visited Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Antigua, Panama, Columbia, El Salvador and Nicaragua.
