We are well underway on compiling the education program for the SAME Federal Small Business Conference, Nov. 15-17 in Pittsburgh. We received 70 submissions to the Call for Presentations for what will be 21 slots. Given the competition, and the scrutiny of the reviewers, these topics will surely be valuable for both public and private sector attendees. SAME's webinar program continues to expand, in some cases with three to four offerings per month. Many topics are appealing to larger and larger audiences and we thank those presenters from the SAME Partner Program and our Committees & Councils for their efforts to bring forward great content. This summer, we broke our attendance record with a webinar through Deltek, titled "Trump Administration & Implications for the A/E/C Industry," that brought in 837 attendees. We also started a new series TME Presents, where authors dive deeper into their articles after they have been published. The series got off to a great start in June and we held the second webinar in August. Looking forward into 2018, the Call for Presentations is now open for the SAME-IFMA Facilities Management Workshop, being held Feb. 7-9 in San Antonio. The submission deadline is Oct. 10, 2017. This event continues to grow each year, and we have connected with both the Coast Guard and Marine Corps Installations Command to be new participants in the 2018 event.
