Wendy Kendall, former Ministry of Defence psychologist, worked with forces personnel all over the world and now lives near Toulouse running a business helping people adjust to change. I grew up in Manchester and met my husband Herve, who is French, studying in the UK. We visited France and I was attracted by the lifestyle and countryside. When Herve was offered work as an aeronautical engineer in Toulouse it seemed time to take the plunge. We researched locations online and rented a property before buying an old farmhouse.
